2018 marks the 30th anniversary of Commonwealth Heritage Group

Founded in 1988, by Donald J. Weir and Donna Roper, Commonwealth Cultural Resources Group was headquartered in Jackson, Michigan. After three decades, the company has been renamed to Commonwealth Heritage Group, Inc. (Commonwealth). Today, the company has become an industry leader in the heritage management industry, servicing clients nationwide.

Over the years, Commonwealth has developed an outstanding reputation with clients and regulatory agencies for understanding the intricacies of heritage management planning, regulatory compliance, and project implementation. These relationships and experiences allow us to create innovative and practical solutions for even the most complex of cultural resource projects.

In three decades, Commonwealth has completed over 4,000 projects, providing sound and exemplary service to clients and the industry. Serving clients nationwide from its headquarters in Dexter, MI and ten regional offices in Littleton, MA; Traverse City, MI; Tarboro, NC; Albuquerque, NM; Columbus, OH; West Chester, PA; Ogden, UT; Alexandria, VA; Charlottesville, VA; and Milwaukee, WI.
